In a nutshell: I’m a wife, mom of two biracial girls, PR/ Social Media professional, sister and aunt to many, neighborhood school advocate and Chicago transplant living in the city I love yet making the daily trek to the suburbs for a job I dig. I should have started this blog about 5 years ago, but since no one was expecting it or grading me on said ‘assignment,’ it kept falling by the wayside. That, or I’m just lazy.
But here’s the rub: I’m not getting any younger — and neither are my kids. It’s truly startling how quickly ALL of it is whizzing by. So it was high time for my blog.
